This Payment Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, processes, and security measures for purchases made on https://hu.avenoxshop.com ("Site"), operated by AvenoxShop Szolgáltató és Kereskedelmi Kft. By using our Site, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer the following secure payment options:
Credit/Debit Cards (Processed by Stripe)
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All card payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partner, Stripe, Inc. Your full card details are never stored on our servers.
Digital Wallets (Apple Pay & Google Pay)
Secure and fast payment methods that use the payment information stored in your digital wallet. These methods provide an additional layer of security as they do not share your actual card details with us.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
Pay in cash directly to the delivery courier upon receipt of your order. A handling surcharge of 590 HUF (including 27% VAT) applies to all COD orders. By selecting this method, you agree to pay the full order value plus this surcharge at the time of delivery.
2. Payment Process & Order Confirmation
Currency
All transactions are processed in Hungarian Forint (HUF). All prices displayed include 27% VAT.
Order Confirmation
After completing your order, you will receive an automatic Order Confirmation email. This email acknowledges that we have received your order request but does not yet constitute our acceptance of your offer; it is a confirmation of receipt.
Payment Authorization (for cards)
When you pay by card, your bank will pre-authorize the amount of the order. This means the funds are reserved but not immediately charged. The actual charge to your card will be processed only at the moment your order is shipped.
Address Verification (for COD)
For fraud prevention, orders placed with the Cash on Delivery method are subject to address verification by our team before shipment. This may cause a slight delay in processing.
3. Payment Security
Your security is our top priority. We employ robust measures to protect your financial data:
PCI DSS Compliance
All card payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, which is the most stringent level of certification in the payments industry.
Encryption
Our Site uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology to ensure that all data transmitted between your browser and our servers remains confidential.
Data Storage
We do not store or have access to your sensitive card details (full card number, CVV code). This information is handled exclusively by Stripe's secure systems.
4. Important Legal Provisions
Contract Formation
A legally binding sales contract between you and AvenoxShop is formed only when we send you a Shipment Confirmation email containing your tracking number. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason before this point, including but not limited to:
- Product unavailability.
- Errors in product or pricing information (see below).
- Suspected fraudulent activity.
- Inability to obtain authorization for payment from your card issuer.
Pricing Errors
We strive for accuracy in all product and pricing information. However, if a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, system error, or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we retain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for that product at the incorrect price. If your card has already been charged for a cancelled order, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
Billing Disputes and Chargebacks
For any billing discrepancy or problem with your order, you must contact our Customer Service team at support@avenoxshop.com to seek a resolution before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in the permanent closure of your customer account and legal action to recover incurred costs.
5. Cash on Delivery Specific Terms
Refusal of Delivery
If you refuse to accept the delivery or fail to pay the full amount (product total + COD surcharge) upon delivery, the order will be returned to us.
Return & Re-delivery Costs
In the event of a refused delivery, you will be responsible for the cost of both the initial and return shipping, as well as any associated handling fees. These costs will be deducted from any potential refund or will be invoiced to you. A re-delivery will only be possible after these costs have been settled.
Limited Availability
The Cash on Delivery payment method may not be available for all order values or delivery locations. We reserve the right to restrict its availability at our discretion.
